MY DANGEROUS NEIGHBORHOOD

The setting here is full of life
Pretty as a Stepford wife
But beneath the green veneer
The chance for harm is always near.
All those saws and drills and axes
They can harm you more than taxes.

     Come on up, I think you should
     To my dangerous neighborhood
     But first do yourself a favor
     Buy insurance, sign our waiver
     Looking nice don’t make it good -
     My dangerous neighborhood!

The woods are pretty, but give pause
To thoughts of nature’s tooth and claws
My kitchen's big, but not quite kosher
Full of gear that’s banned by OSHA
So just enjoy the curb appeal
And leave yourself some time to heal.

     Come on up, I think you should
     To my dangerous neighborhood
     Show your face and you’ll be well met
     First suit up and wear a helmet
     The perils here are understood
     My dangerous neighborhood!
